who am i?

i've been a little m.i.a due to a broken computer, finals,

& the fact it's my last two weeks to live

here in paradise, aka waco.

i've been experiencing some role conflict lately, or at least

lots of different roles simultanously.

right now i'm a bachelorette, a student, soon-to-be graduate,

daughter, sister, friend, fiance, soon-to-be wife.

"Who am I? This or the other?

Am I one person today, and tomorrow another?

Am I both at once? A hypocrite before others,

and before myself a contemptibly woebegone weaking?...

Who am I? They mock me, these lonely questions of mine.

Whoever I am, thou knowest, O God, I am thine."
