engagement video

What you are about to see is my first attempt at something I've been wanting to make for a while:

the engagement video!

I was beyond excited to take some engagement photos of my friends from Baylor, Chad & Alise,

because they are so fun.  Little did I know exactly how cute and in love they were until getting to hang out with just them for a couple of hours.  

I love that with videos (in this case, stop-motion style) you get more of the story

of the day- wind blown hair, goofy facial expressions, and just straight up silly moments.

* please note this is my first attempt at anything like this- so it's sooo far from perfect, 

but it was really fun to make, mostly because their pictures put the biggest smile on my face.

live puppy cam!

i love the way God communicates to us everyday through unique mediums.

He uses some delightfully silly ones with me: tiny things, puppies, fortune cookies. in a way, these little expressions of love and humor (and wisdom from time to time) shape and color the essence of our lives.


last night my sister sent me a link to a live puppy cam on the web, and i have been overflowing with joy ever since!

baylor kids = super fit & good looking

Everyone knows that Baylor students are hot[t]. According to factoids spouted out by the cool kids giving campus tours, Baylor was voted one of the most active colleges in texas (or the U.S./world, something like that- whateve).

Anyway, whatever the exact facts are, I know they are true. In fact, upon moving into our new home, my roommate, "the dude," found an abandoned ab-lounge in our shed. That's right- an ab-lounge, straight of the infomercials circa 1999! How generous and Christian of the previous tenants to leave this jewel for us! Good thing they did too; we got to stay smokin' to keep up the Baylor student body's foxy reputation.
